Support for advocacy campaigns initiated by Ukrainian NGOs
Our organization supports advocacy campaigns launched by Ukrainian civil society organizations in line with our goals. We support initiatives focused on protecting human rights, developing civil society, and promoting changes that are crucial for Ukraine.
It is particularly valuable for us to work with young people who remain in Ukraine. By supporting such campaigns, we maintain a lively connection with our peers, hear their voices, and help them to be heard. In the current times of hardship, this is especially important, as young people are the driving force behind change and the future development of the country.
- Advocacy campaign on defining youth diplomacy in UkraineIt calls for the inclusion of a separate section on youth diplomacy in Ukraine's new Public Diplomacy Strategy (2026–2030). The campaign reminds us that traditional diplomatic tools are losing their effectiveness, and modern challenges require systematic, strategic interaction with young people from other countries. The campaign proposes broadening the understanding of youth diplomacy as a set of actions by the state, civil society organizations, and young people themselves to shape positive opinions about Ukraine abroad. The initiative has been supported by several leading Ukrainian youth organizations representing the active part of civil society and aims to give young people not only the role of recipients of support, but also the role of agents of influence in international processes. Alliance 24/08 supported the relevant communications on social media, helped publish a joint appeal in the Ukrainian media, and signed a joint letter of appeal to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
